The SIS Group significantly expands its reach into West Africa
SIS Inspections Mauritius has recently made a significant move in pursuing its African strategy with the acquisition of Q&Q Control Services UK Ltd and affiliates in North and West Africa. This acquisition follows the company's purchase of GCC earlier this year, reflecting its ongoing expansion on the African continent.
Q&Q Control Services, established in 1991, is renowned for its expertise in cargo inspection, stock monitoring, and analytical services in the Oil and Gas sector. The acquisition includes the UK-based holding company and its affiliates across several key North and West African nations, including Morocco, Nigeria, Togo, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Congo (Brazzaville), and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
With an established commercial presence, a staff compliment in excess of 200 people and extensive local market knowledge, this acquisition will strengthen SIS Inspections' position in these regions by enhancing the service offering of Q&Q to include custodial services (CMA) and other related inspection services to the Agricultural sector.
The Q&Q brand will be retained in the region in the short term to ensure business continuity.
